CRYSTAL LAKE – Joe and Donna Vestal of Crystal Lake celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary by renewing their wedding vows while taking a second honeymoon to the South China Sea. Their children will host an intimate party with their family and closest friends Feb. 18 at Lakeview Center.

Donna Johnson and Joe Vestal were married Feb. 8, 1962, at St. John's Baptist Church in Princess Anne, Va.

They have three children, Joe (Angie Rockow) Vestal of McHenry, Nicole (Conrad) Caringal of Largo, Fla., and Dana (Kim Hagerty) Vestal of Broad Brook, Conn.

They have five grandchildren, Bill (Rockow) and Alyssa Vestal , Mya and Adam Caringal and Kyal Hagerty; and two great-grandchildren, Lilana and London Rockow.
