- Lauretta E. Helmer, 85, of Cary, died March 25, 2013, at Westlake Hospital in Melrose Park. She was born Aug. 14, 1927, in Wilmette to Henry and Lauretta Loustsch. She was the mother of Stan Helmer, Robert Helmer, Scott Helmer, and Janice Morrison. She was the wife of Raymond G. Helmer. She was preceded in death by her husband and her son, Leonard Helmer. She is survived by her four children. Memorial service will be at Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
