- Leon Stanley Nowak, 58, of Downers Grove, died June 19, 2013, at Meadowbrook Manor in Naperville from cancer. He was born July 27, 1954, in Chicago to Stanley Nowak and Bernice Nowak. He was father to Eric Nowak and Scott Nowak. He is survived by his father, his two sisters, Sheila McDonough and Joyce Hoover; and his children. Memorial will be on July 6, at West Ridge Community Church in Elgin.
