- Alice M. Synder, 91, of Hebron, died June 24, 2013, at JourneyCare Hospice Inpatient Unit in Woodstock. She was born in Rock Island on April 5, 1922, to Walter A. and Margie Georgi. She was the wife to Jon L. Snyder, who she married on June 21, 1941. She is survived by her son William Snyder; a brother, Eugene E. Georgi; and her sister, Olive Flint. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her son, Robert G. Synder. Burial will be in Old North Cemetery in St. Charles.
