- Robert J. Zimmermann, 83, of Woodstock, died on July 5, 2013, in his home. He was born on aug. 17, 1929, in Chicago, to Fred and Theresa(Gart) Zimmermann. He married Barbara Haack on April 7, 1951, at St. Mary Church in Woodstock. He is survived by his wife; his children, Steven(Kathleen) Zimmermann, John W.(Diane) Zimmermann, and Jerome "Jerry" Zimmermann; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles(Marian) Zimmermann and Paul Zimmermann; and two sisters, Terese Thompson and Ann (Steven) Janienke. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Patricia J. Zimmermann; and a brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Florence Zimmermann. He was buried in the Cavalry Catholic Church in Woodstock.
