- Ferne D. Hilgoe, 95, of Sun City, Huntley, passed away on Oct. 28,2013. She was born on Feb. 15,1918, in St. Paul, Minn., to Orrin and Edith(Buroker) Ostvig. She married Vernon Hilgoe on July 22,1939, in Chicago. She is survived by her children, Lee ann Hill, Kay(the late Ronald) Hildebrand, and Jan(Hermann) Greinig; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; grandsons; and sisters, Thelma Sharp and Dorothy Kopp. She was buried in the Huntley Cemetery. Unavailable online due to copyright.
