- Robert D. Jenkins, of Pistakee Highlands, died on Oct. 18, 2013, in Barrington. He was born on Dec. 2, 1953, in Chicago to Charles and Rita Jenkins. He was the husband of Dorothy, whom he has been married to for 64 years. He was the father of Diane Putnam, Robert Jenkins, Donald Jenkins, and John Jenkins. He is survived by his wife and children. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Charles Jenkins. Burial will be at St. John's Cemetery.
