- Donna L. Whitfield, 77, of Cherry Valley, died October 23, 2013 in her home. She was born March 17, 1936 in Chicago to Donald and Helen Wermerskirchen McNee. She was the mother of Stephanie (Mark) Rankin, Lydia (Warren) Vowels, and Leslie (Michael) Tuttle. She was the wife of John A. Whitfield, whom she married February 8, 1964. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by her children and grandchildren. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
