- Mary Margaret Sandman, 83, of Marengo, died October 15, 2013 at Heartstone Manor in Woodstock. She was born July 23, 1930 in Belvidere to Richard Merriman and Gertrude Kelly. She was the mother of Gary Sandman, Terry (Connie) Sandman, and Robert (Jean) Sandman. She was married to Clarence C. Sandman whom she married on November 25, 1950 in Marengo. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters, Ilene Drummer and Irene Merriman; and two brothers, Don and Bill Merriman. She is survived by her children and two sisters, Joyce Sheffield and Pat Diehl. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
