- Wanda G. Palmer, 91, of Johnsburg, died October 9, 2013 in Woodstock at JourneyCare Hospice in Woodstock. She was born August 15, 1922 in Grayslake to Jeppe and Arenta (Christensen) (Jepsen). She was the mother of Sandra (Richard) Kollenkark, Linda (Dennis) Petersen, and Rocky (Donna) Palmer. She was the wife of Harvey V. Palmer whom she married on November 14, 1943 at Ivanhoe Church in Mundelein. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother, Nils 'Bud'; and three sisters, Betty, Marie, and Lola. She is survived by her children, nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and a brother-in-law, Robert (the late Patricia) Palmer. Burial will be in Ivanhoe Cemetery in Mundelein.
