- Edward Guettler, 94, of McHenry, died on January 31, 2014 at his home. He was born on October 30, 1919 in Dexter, MN, to David and Helena (Groh) Guettler. Eddie is survived by his four daughters, Sally Roth, Dawn (Tom) LaBuy-Brockett, Jean (Mark) Luchtefeld, and Julie Brunow, and special adopted daughters, Caterina Simon of Italy and Mercury Do of California. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marla; a daughter, Peggy Guettler; a grandson, Daven Edward Guettler; and seven siblings. Burial will be private.
