- Ardene Mae Raven, 77, of McHenry, died January 30, 2014 at Rockford Memorial Hospital. She was born July 28, 1936 to Clark and Mabel (Witt) Nicholls. She was the mother of Julie (Stephen) Sacco, Jeffrey (Susan) Raven, and Joseph Raven. She was the wife of Clinton Raven. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a grandson, Jason Raven, a brother, Eugene Nicholls, and a sister, Marge Racas. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and two brothers, Ralph (Patricia) Nicholls and Lauren Nicholls. Interment will be private.
