- Matthew J. Scholle, of Antioch, died January 29, 2014. He was born July 25, 1937 in Chicago, to John and Genevieve (nee Czajkowski) Scholle. He was the husband of Carol (nee Sompel), whom he married on May 18, 1974 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife Rita (nee Merk) Scholle, his parents, his sister-in-law, and his brother-in-law. He is survived by his wife, aunts and uncles, brothers-in-law Dan and Rick (Debbie) Sompel, and sisters-in-law Betty Sompel and Louise (Edward) Flood. Burial will be at the Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville.
