- James "Jim" Andrew Stupar, 55, was born on April 19, 1958 in Waukegan and passed away on January 30, 2014 in Barrington, IL at Journey Care Hospice after a long battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease). He was the husband of Kathy (Lockwood), whom he met at Crystal Lake Central High School and married on June 23, 1979. Jim is survived by his wife, Kathy, son Ben (Anne), granddaughter Sofie, father George, brothers Jeff (Teresa) and David (Elizabeth), mother-in-law Judy Lockwood, sister-in-law Koleen Janquart, brother-in-law Craig (Anna) Lockwood, and loving nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Stupar. Burial will be in St. Matthew Lutheran Church.
