- Josephine C. Sample, 95, was born on February 15, 1918 in Geneva, NE to Benjamin and Elsie Pangle and passed away on February 13, 2014 in Myrtle Beach, SC. She married Edward H. Sample at the family farm near Woodstock, IL on May 7, 1938. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by her daughters, Joanne Toomey and Patricia Beck; sons, Richard E. (Kathleen), Ronald F; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
