- Jeffrie Lee Whiting, 51, was born on September 10, 1962 in Elgin to Robert and Paula (Hyatt) Whiting and passed away on February 12, 2014 in Rockford. He is survived by two sisters, Julie (Aaron) Smith and Jill (Gary) Mungle; two nieces, Rebecca Mungle and Kayla Mungle; his companion, Paula Lamont; Paula's children; and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his maternal and paternal grandparents; and his uncle, James Whiting. Burial will be private.
