- Albert P. Koob, 97, of Algonquin, Illinois, died February 10, 2014 in his home. He was born January 2, 1917 in Chicago to Peter and Anna Koob. He was the father of Richard (Judy) Koob, Karen (Frank) Polletta, and Connee Pines. He was the husband of Pearl. He was preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law Bill Pines, and four sisters. He is survived by his wife, children, 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and many other family members. Burial will be in in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
