- Barbara McDonald (formerly Cassell), 87, of Crystal Lake, died February 22, 2014. She was born February 14, 1927 in Ohio to Helen Zollars and Terrence Firman. She was the mother of Debralee (Richard) Houston, Linda (John) Wilhem, Tina (Glen) Kastilahn, Scott McDonald, and Lisa (Richard) Buhr. She was the wife of Thomas McDonald and the former wife of Ronald Cassell. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her former husband, three sisters, Francis, Janet, and Judy. She is survived by her children, her grandchildren, Michelle (Steve) Hoyt, Christina (Kieran) Hartnett, Michael Houston, John (Karyn) Terry, Justin (Cole) Wilhem, Jenny Wilhem, Lindsay (Joe) McEvilly, Taylor Kastilahn, Karli Kastilahn, Joshua Burh, and Michael Burh; and her great-grandchildren, AJ, Jada, Jaxon, Piper, Layla, and Hadley.
