- Charlotte L. Kurzeja, 83, of Wonder Lake, died Februart 19, 2014 at Centegra Hospital - McHenry. She was born Febraury 6, 1931 in Valley City, North Dakota to Charles and Lorraine (Thorsen) McClaflin. She was the mother of John, Nancy (the late Carl) Tomaso, and Joseph M. (Stacia) Kurzeja. She was the wife of Joseph C. Kurzeja, whom she married on June 17, 1950 at St. Ann's Church in Chicago. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant son John, and brother Dale McClaflin. She is survived by her other two children, three grandchildren, and two sisters-in-law Sylvia McClaflin and Mary (the late Teddy) Sielepkowski. Interment will be at Christ the King Cemetery.
