- Walter "Wally" Frett, 76, of Johnsburg, died February 28, 2014 at his home. He was born March 1, 1937 in Woodstock to Joseph and Susan (Freund) Frett. He was the father of John (Christina) Frett, Tom (Carolyn Ardella) Frett, Jim (Nancy Zanzucchi) Frett, and Jeannine (Garrett Urban) Frett. He was the husband of Melanie M. Richard whom he married on December 21, 1968 in Oak Park. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Robert. He is survived by his wife, his children, a granddaughter Mia, and two sisters, Cynthia Knox and Nadine Frett. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Johnsburg.
