- James Tonyan, 68, of McHenry, died February 25, 2014 at his home. He was born July 4, 1945 in Chicago to Sylvester and Elsie Tonyan. He was the father of Lindsay and Wesley Tonyan. He was the husband to Laurie Mitchell, whom he married on December 21, 1974 in Monroe, Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his father, his mother, and his sister. He was survived by his wife, two children, two grandchildren, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Burial will be at St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
