- Shirleen Shank, 77, of the Village of Lakewood, died February 16, 2014. She was born on July 20, 1926 in Fairfield, IA to Kenneth and Regina (Helland) Allison. She was the mother of Allison and Kristin Shank. She was the wife of William O. Shank whom she married on June 25, 1949 at the Congregational Church in Crystal Lake. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a grandson Bill. She is survived by her children, her grandchildren, Elizabeth and Grace; and her brothers, Roger (Madeline) Allison and Douglas (Carol) Allison.
