- Mary E. Deacon, 71, of Algonquin, passed away on March 5, 2014. She was born on August 21, 1942 in Martin's Ferry, Ohio to Arthur and Leota Gibson. In 1962, she moved to Illinois and married Robert Deacon. She is survived by her children, Tina (Joseph) Brown, Rosemarie (Kurt) Troyke, Elizabeth (Dean) Gieseke, John (Jennifer) Deacon, Michael (Amanda) Deacon; her grandchildren, Thomas, Krystal, Samuel, Jacob, Will, Clayton, Alexander, Paige, Andrew (Nikki), James (Katie), Johnathon, Jessica, and Abigail; her great-grandchildren, Luke, Micah, Aubrey, and Hannah; her sister, Lilian and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert in 2007; and her brothers, Bill, Wilbur, and George; and sisters, Betty, Lois, and Dorothy.
