- Dale K. Silker, 87, of Machesney Park, died February 27, 2014 at his home. He was born December 8, 1926 in Pleasant Grove, MN to C. Kenneth and Esther (Winters) Silker. He was the father of Cynthia Bagus, John (Deb) Silker, Linda (Bob Freed) McGowan, and Will Silker. He was the wife of Jeri Doran whom he married in 1948 in Rochester, MN, and he was the wife of Leone (Jodi) McGowen whom he married in 1971. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, and a sister JoAnne Wildermuth. He is survived by his second wife, his children, 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and her brothers, Dewaine (Norman) Silker and Frank (Joan) Silker.
