- Description
- Hosiers Ltd. was opened in 1920 by Kenneth W. Harvey. It was his second factory and was opened to capitalize on the popularity of hosiery. In 1937, York Knitting Co bought Harvey's three businesses (including Hosier's Ltd.), and in 1966 all of their businesses had their names changed to Harvey Woods Ltd. to match the branding on the products they were producing.
