Description
This year book contains the 1974 team roster, calendar, and sponsors for the Brantford Falcons men's soccer team. The team was part of the Ontario Intercity Soccer League.

The booklet is enclosed in heavier paper and held together with staples. The front cover features the logo of the Brantford Falcons Sports Club: an illustrated falcon sitting atop a soccer ball. The back cover shows an image of the Brantford German Club- "Home of the Falcons", and of the Junior Falcons youth soccer team.

The booklet features several advertisements, addresses, and slogans for local businesses in 1974. These are listed completely under the "corporate names" section of this article. Players, coaches, and other figures prominently listed in the booklet are listed in the "personal names" section.

The year book also features an address from 1974 Brantford Falcons S.C. President Fred Neumann, a short history of the Brantford Falcons, and photographs of the club players and organizers.
Notes
About the league and team:

A brief history of the Brantford Falcons is provided in the year book, outlining the origins of the club and their prior accomplishments. The team's standings in the 1974 season are unknown, though it is notable that in 1975, the Brantford Falcons went on to win the Men's Ontario Cup for the first and only time in the club's history. The cup was won by a Brantford team once before, when the Brantford Cockshutts [the work team of the Brantford Cockshutt Plow Company] won the cup fifty years prior in 1924.

While little information is retrievable online about the Ontario Intercity Soccer League, a tentative list of teams participating in the league at that time is available from the 1974 season schedule within the yearbook. Many of the league teams were founded by associations of recent immigrants to Canada connected by a shared love of soccer, and therefore were often heavily comprised of and associated with certain cultural groups. The teams against which the Brantford Falcons were scheduled to play in 1974 include:

- London
- St. Catherines Roma
- Guelph Kossuth
- Kitchener Leos
- Galt Orientals
- Burlington United
- Hamilton U.S.I.C.
- Dundas United

More about the Brantford German Club:

The Brantford Falcons Sports Club was run out of the German Clubhouse in Brantford, which was nicknamed the "Home of the Falcons" and is featured on the year book's back cover. The Brantford German Club was an organization founded in 1953 by German immigrants to Brantford who often met to socialize. The members constructed a clubhouse to host meetings and events, which they named "Sonnenhof" [this translates loosely to English as "house of sunshine"]. The clubhouse was a long-standing part of the Brantford community and hosted numerous events, including German language classes, dances, birthday parties, and holiday celebrations. It was a popular destination for visitors to the Brantford International Villages Festival for many successful years. The clubhouse closed its doors permanently in 2022 as a result of COVID-19 pandemic restrictions on gatherings, though the German Canadian Association remained alive in Brantford after the closure. This yearbook, along with a Brantford Falcons S.C. banner and a framed team photograph, were retrieved from the clubhouse when it closed.
