Description
Photograph shows a previous building which housed the Visitor Information Centre in Brantford, Ontario: a red railway caboose. The building is shown to be on a large grassy field bordered by trees in the background, and is surrounded by bushes.

A large sign on the building reads "Visitor Information", while a circular sign on the left-hand side of the caboose shows the logo for the City of Brantford's Information Centre: a large letter "i" in bold black font and bordered in yellow and orange. A small sign beside the doors of the building reads "closed".

A billboard beside the building reads "City of BRANTFORD places to see..." in large black font at the top. The billboard displays several stylized black and orange advertising posters showing various attractions around the city along with a simple map of Brantford.
Notes
No date is provided for the picture, though it is worth note that the Brantford Visitor Information Centre no longer operates out of the pictured building. The centre was eventually relocated to the larger Brantford Tourism Centre on Wayne Gretzky Parkway, which was opened in 2002. This new centre has also since closed. Information on Brantford tourism can now be accessed at the Discover Brantford desk inside the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre, at 254 North Park Street, in the City of Brantford Ontario.
