- Description
- Photograph shows a black and white image of Paris Plains Church in the town of Paris, Ontario. The church is on an open grassy field beside a large tree. It is constructed using unique cobblestone architecture with larger brickwork at each corner, and features two gothic windows in white frames on both the front and left side of the church. There is what appears to be a small stone plaque near the top of the church, though the writing is illegible due to the small size of the picture.
- Notes
- The Paris Plains Church remains standing in Paris, Ontario to date. Construction of the church was completed in 1845 and dedicated as the West Dumfries Chapel. It was restored in 1948, though services are no longer held in the church due to the chapel's small size and the age of the building.
