- This booklet is an advertisement to potential new residents of and visitors to Brantford, Ontario. It contains a brief history of Brantford Ontario, a synopsis of local recreation and leisure facilities, and an account of "people and traditions" in Brantford at the time of publication. These descriptions are accompanied by images of various sites around Brantford. The booklet is undated and does not list any authors or contributors.

- While the booklet is undated, it can be placed somewhere between 1974-1982. This is due to the inclusion of the Brant Aquatic Centre in the booklet, which was opened to the public in 1974. However, the Brant Aquatic Centre and North Park Recreation Centre, of which the Aquatic Centre was a part, were both renamed to the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre in 1982. Therefore, the booklet most likely was published sometime during this 8-year span.
