This 412 page book is a history of businesses that operated in the Brighton area before it was known as Brighton or was incorporated in the Township and Village. The collection of picture and information that was contributed to make this book a success will recall memories for many, and an opportunity for recent residents to see what our economy used to be and what it is today. Unfortunately, because of the number of pictures submitted they could not all be used but I hope you enjoy the ones we selected.
A special thanks goes to Florence Chatten, Lianne Harrald, John (Bud) and Jill Guertin and Barry Brose for making this book possible.
Also a special thanks to organizations and the many people who contributed in any way to make this book a success. I am sorry if I missed anyone.
