- These photos are part of Hugh Donald Latimer’s portfolio of 1929 to 1941. His instruction for their custody are included at the front of the album. Ironically, despite this amazing snapshot of the time, there are no photos of Hugh or his father William in the collection. From the album: H. D. Latimer I took these snapshots of people who frequented our general store at Orland. They are of people from the adjacent area including Codrington, Hilton, and Brighton. Most of them were taken in the late twenties and early thirties. I ask that they be left with the North Brighton (Codrington) Community Centre and that they not be permitted to be taken from the Community Centre. Hugh D. Latimer PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE THE SNAPSHOTS FROM THEIR HOLDER ON EACH PAGE
