Attendants were Steve and Agnes Murray. When they left for their honeymoon they did not get far before a drunk driver came through a stop-sign and struck their car broadside injuring both, but Bridget much more so. She ended up spending many weeks in the hospital with a shattered leg which never completely mended, causing that leg to be larger than the other." per "Decendants of Francis Plew", sent to me by John Plue, Jan 5 2010.

R. 2, Codrington, Northumberland Co., Ontario; "Adrian Thomas Plue; Adrian Thomas Plue, RR 2, Codrington, passed away at his home Friday, May 18, 1984, after a lengthy illness. He was 68. Mr. Plue was born in Actinolite, Ontario, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Plue. He leaves behind wife (Betty) Mary Brdiget Plue (nee Delaney). He was father of Ronald, RR 2, Codrington; John, Whitby; Barbara at home; Leo, Oshawa; Teresa, at home; Larry, Pembroke; Carole (Mrs. Robert Dailey), Philadelphia; Patrick, Ottawa; Francis (Frank), Pembroke; and was predeceased by Joan. He was grandfather of 15, and great-grandfather of two. Mr. Plue is survived by sisters Mrs. Anne Houlihan, Peterborough; Carmel (Mrs .Pat O'Brien), Eganville; and Marie Plue, Peterborough. He was predeceased by brother James. A member of St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, Wooler, Mr. Plue was also a retired civil servant, who had been at C.F.B. Trenton, and a farmer. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. Funeral service for Mr. Plue was held from St. Alphonsus .. May 21 .. Pallbearers were Jim Hennessy, Almand Spencer, Frank Moran, Harold Reddom, Raymond Kemp and Wilfert Wright. They held open house when many neighbors, friends and relatives called to extend their congratulations. Their sons, Ronald, John and Leo and their wives and daughter, Teresa were on hand to welcome guests and server the lunch to all who called. Also assisting were gradndaughters Laurie, Ronda and Karen Plue, who live next door. Not able to be present were Carol, wife of Robert Dailey, Philadelphia, Patrick Lawrence and Francis, their sons from Pembroke and Ottawa, but they plan to have a delayed celebration with them later. Mr. and Mrs. Plue were married at Seaforth where she, Betty Delaney, made her home and since then have lived at Orland. Mr. Plue has a position at CFB Trenton and they have lived in their new home, adjacent to the farm where Ronald and Mildred Plue reside with their family, and where they lived formerly for all their married life.
