Main Text: Ralph and Eugena Bangay live in a museum. It wasn't planned that way, but their comfortable, blue, board-and-batten home in Brighton is crammed to the veiling with antiques and memorabilia that Ralph has been collecting for over 60 years.
Every mom holds something of interest, from a wooden 1800's baby carriage to a penny-farthing bicycle, still whimsically decorated with tinsel, left over from Christmas, guarding the top of the stairs. There's a pendulum clock beside framed pictures of his parents, a couple of original oil paintings and a stuffed hyena's head, an authenticated 2,000 year old Peruvian stirrup lamp and a massive collection of antique kitchen utensils - all just part of his upstairs collection.

In the basement he keeps many more items in a large room bursting with pictures, helmets, tools, skates, furniture, newspapers, signs, high button shoes, lanterns and enough Brighton memorabilia to start a museum.
In fact that's what Ralph Bangay wants to do: start a museum in Brighton.
It isn't the first time he's set out to stock a museum for his home town. About 20 years ago he owned a piece of property just west of the town. He approached the council with the idea of damming the stream, making a small [See "After Fifty" Article pg. 2].
