1) "Mujer: también de sudor": A cover page of the periodical "Quehaceres", published by the Centro de Investigación para la Acción Femenina (CIPAF) in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic (established in 1979), states that women are also made from sweat, meaning that they too work.
2) "El mundo sindical frente a la doble explotación de las mujeres: La realidad de la mujer obrera": The working conditions and exploitation of women in the Dominican Republic are discussed in this article.
3) ""Las mujeres no pueden dedicarse a labores que no sean apropiadas a su sexo...": Un código de 1951 en 1984": An article dealing with the legal discrimination that women face in the Dominican Republic notes that the legal code itself states that women cannot work in jobs that "do not correspond to their sex". - Publisher
