The "corporate name" for images 1997.27.32 to 1997.27.43 requires correction. The correct corporate name is "Grace United Church, Ouvry, Ont." The church had been built as Grace Methodist Church in 1889. It was located in the hamlet of Ouvry on the Lake Erie shore near Cedar Springs. The church was located on the north side of the road. Christ Anglican Church was also located in Ouvry, just east of Grace United Church. (The cemetery of Christ Anglican Church survives. The church was built in 1863, closed in 1978, and was demolished in 1997.) The congregation of Grace United Church dissolved in 1997 and the church was demolished in the same year. The tongue and groove ceiling and details were executed in cherry wood.
