this is stated as Original 1967 a mistake on printing,, this bulding was long before that, my Mother In Law worked there when she 1st came to Chatham early 1900, & she was a young woman, [ep[le are continually getting the building on PARK AVE E & this building on GRAND AVE W mixed up. ORPAHANGE/SHELTER on PARK AVE E & OLD AGE/POOR HOUSE on Grand Ave W. I lived @ PARK AVE E home for 14 yrs. it was the FRANCIS MOOR SHELTER managed by the local CHILDRENS AID SOCIETY. I am 85 yrs now, so may have a bit mistaken but, sure not much by living there
