This gate was designed in the 1920's by T.C. Warwick and the materials supplied by his company, T.C. Warwick & Sons. Notice the English architecture and the large broad swords at the entrance. T.C. [as he was known] built houses in Blenheim and Chatham all with the classical English Tudor appearance. His company built the Glen Gordon Manor and the S.S. Kresge Home in Sleepy Hollow. Driving along Charing Cross Road and Victoria Avenue in Chatham, one may quickly identify all the Tudor homes the company built, always with a classical old English appearance. Before passing with cancer in 1937, T.C. designed his cemetery stone which resides in Evergreen Cemetery, again, with a Celtic Cross at the top of the monument.
