- prayer book given to individuals who went overseas during the World War I; leather cover with gold cross on front; on the inside cover is handwritten: "769497 / August 3, 1916 / J. H. Balshaw / C. Coy 12 Platoon / 124th Bn / C.E.F."; on the first page handwritten in blue is: "Dolcin for Arthrightis"; stamped in blue is "Gift from the Bishop of Toronto's Prayerbook fund for overseas troops, 1916".
