- rectangular molded wooden frame with glass containing three matted panels containing, on the left, a portrait of a young WWI officer, in the centre panel a Military Cross - silver cross suspended from a faded white and purple ribbon, and on the right panel a letter from the department of Veteran's Affairs with the citation for the dead of action resulting in the award of the Military Cross to Lt Arthur Patrick Wilson
- The medal was awarded to Arthur Patrick Wilson who enlisted in the 99th Battalion in WWI - later transferred to the 1st Battalion Canadian Expeditionary Force. He was killed in action. Wilson would also have posthumously received the British War medal, Victory medal, memorial cross, and memorial plaque.
