- small dials at back for winding and setting time and for setting alarm
- small ring on top of ball (for hanging ?)

- to hold alarm clock; cardstock, exterior covered with blue paper
- white sticker with blue border affixed to one end of box reads: "866"
- The Von Gunten Jewellery Store was located on King St. It was founded in 1876 by Charles and Luis Von Gunten. The brothers eventually dissolved their partnership, but Charles' son, A. H., continued to operate the business until 1944.
