- silver disc surmounted by a straight silver suspender through which passes a silk sibbon with a gold centre flanked on either side by narrow stripes of white black and blue. The obverse bears the bust of King George V while the reverse depicts a naked man on horseback with the dates 1914 1918. the rim is impressed with the recipients information "6723 PTE. W.M. POPHAM. I-CAN.INF"
