- silver disc surmounted by a straight silver suspender through which is a watered silk ribbon with gold centre flanked by narrow stripes of white, black, and blue, the obverse has a bust of King George V while the reverse depicts a naked man on horseback with the dates 1914 1918
- rim is impressed with the recipient's information "2448392 PTE. K.E. bROWN I-CAN.INF"
