- Contains both farmer and business directories for four counties, Essex, Kent, Lambton and Elgin. The farmers’ directory divided by county and township and then organized alphabetically includes information on residents’ post office address, concession, lot, and their freeholder or tenant status. Two business directories are provided both contain the names of business people in all four counties. The first business directory is organized geographically (county and then city) and then alphabetically. The second business directory is organized by business type and then by geographical location. This directory also contains an Ontario postal guide which lists all Ontario post offices and their corresponding electoral district and post master.
