Jahnson. St. John's Church observed its 92nd year as a Farish and its 68th anniversary in its present site, on Sunday. In the morning the children occupied the, choir seats and led in the sînging. Arch- deacon Simpson gave some of the history of the' parish since its formation in 1852 and told of the. long years of service of several rectars. Rev. Logan, lst rector, ministered here for 21 years; Rev. John Creighton, 3rd rector, for 31 years, and Rev. J. H. Kidd, now of Waodbridge, for 10 years. In the evening Suffragan Bishap A. R. SHACKLETON-ALLIN Kirby United Church was the scene of a pretty wedding June 17 when Rev. S. Littlewood unit- ed in marriage Ruby June, daugh- ter of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Allun, and Kenneth William Shackleton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roland Shackleton, bath of Kirby. The church was decorated with red and white peanies and orange blossoms. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floar- length gown of white embassed muslin over taffeta with shoulder length veil held in place by a caranet of flowers. She carried a bouquet of red carnations. Miss Mildred Allin wearing a floor- length gown of rase-pink taffeta with matching head-dress was her sister's anly attendant. Mr. Gardon Shackleton, Toronto, brother of the groom, was best man. Miss Audrey Billings who played the wedding march ware a floor-length gown of pink net over taffeta. The ushers were Gerald Shackleton and John Allin. A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents.
