An anniversary supper was held after which an enjoyable social evening was spent at the home of their daughter, Mr. and Mrs. R. Clark, Bowmanville. Lynne will celebrate Christmas a littie early, however, as she has to leave on Christmas Eve to rejoin the show in Philadeiphia where a per- formance is scheduled for Christ- mas day. The staff of the local A. & P. Store, with their husliands and wives, were entertained by Manager Rae Rundie and Mrs. Rundie at their home, Edsal Ave, on Saturday evening. About 32 were present and enjoyed dancing and a social Urne with exchange of gifts. A lovely buffet lunch concluded a pleas- ant evening. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Muir- head (nee Monie Dippeil) and son Peter arrived in Bowman- ville on Tuesday to spend Christ- mas with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Dippell. The Muir-, heads have been in England for almost a year. They report a rough crossing to New York, their ship being slated to arrive on Friday and not docking until Monday.
