Mr. Steed %vas active on the Boys' Word Committee of the Church Council for several years and served our whoie mission area in this capacity. Mr. Steed organized the first, and so far only, legalized African Co-operatîve in Angola, enlisting the cooperation of the Government Agricul- tural Representative and the Governor of the district. His keen interest and abiliby in music, agriculture and v'isual aids, along with bis evangelistic work have enabled him 10 make a great contribution bo the African Church.
