The lottery endorsed last Tuesday by Newcastle Council, is being conducted in co-operation with Ontario Federation of Cerebral Palsy groups. The goal of the campaign is $120,000 and the funds will be used to construct a facility in Bowrnanville designed to serve 18 full-time physically handicapped residents, six emergency care residents and 30 others who will be bused in on a daily basis. The location of the region's Participation bouse will be immediately west of Pine Ridge School on Concession. Street East. The property was purchased two months ago.from the Ontario bousing Corporation for $20,400, and a clause in the government contract stipulates that construction must start by July, 1977 or the property will revert to the O.H.C. That's a good reason for getting full value from your water heater in every way you can. By fixing leaky faucets. By insulating long runs of hot water pipe. By waiting until you have a full load before you switch on the clothes or disbwasber. By using cold or cool water wben it will do the job. By taking shorter sbowers or shallower baths. By making sure that all'tbe, bot water tbat eventually goes down the drain works bard for you before it goes. The Cascade electric water beater gives you a . dependable supply of bot water * and it makes good use of al the energy it consumes. But it's up to you ta use bot water wisely. Don't waste a drap. ........ .......
