ALICE BLIGHT Mrs. Blight, the daughter of the late John' Lawsoa, and is wife Ana (nee Miller) Lawson was born November 12, 1887 at Dunnishop, Accrington near Oswaldtwistle. The farm Duaaîshop is mentianed ia accounts back as far as the l3th century, The present house, in the Tudor-style, was built in the time of Henry VII. Mrs. Blight spent hier girl- hood at Dunnishop where sheý married Campbell MacDonald Fraser. She camne ta Canada after his deathla 1929 oa the Aadaaia, and, settled at Cavan with Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Sharpe. She married Mr. George Forder la 1933. Mr. Geo. Forder was the father of the late Mrs. May Wright and the late Mr. Jae Fol'der of Black- stock. Whea living in Black- stock, Mrs. Alice Farder was a valued Commuaity. worke. She was always generous in helping ogaiztions and indivîd uals -with bakiag, kaitting, etc. and won maay prizes at fairs with hier talent la th is lîne. Many wilI remember hier bakiag Wedding and Anniversary cakes for them. Ater the -death of Mr. Farder ia 1943 she kept bouse for Mr. Sharpe at Nestletoa. Ia 196Ï she married -Mr. Ewart Blight of Brookla where she resided for 17 years. She leaves bier husbaad Ewart and stepsan, Leanard Blight of Brookîjnanad several nieces- and nephews la Eagland as well as a hast af grateful relatives and friends la local commuaities. The funeral service was held at McDermott-Pana- baker, Part Perry, Sunday with Rev. Rose conducting. Spring interment Grovesîde Cemetery, Brookla. JEFFREY TODD BROOKS, Suddenly, an Tuesday, March 28th, 1978, as the result of a tragic car accident, the death occurred of Jeffrey Todd Brooks, aged 18. A grade twelve studeat at Bowmanville High Schoal, hie was bora la Oshawa, and had resided la Bowmaaville at 41 Concession Street for 16 years. He had also atteaded Vincent- Massey Public School, and was a member of St. Paul's United Church. Bora July 26, 1924, la Uxbridge, hie was a son af the late Mr. and Mrs. Claude B. Morrisan. He was married in King Street United Church.
