Bath youths are scheduled tappear in court in Bowman- ville, July il. Charged are Laird Story, 17, af R.R. 2, Orano and Paul Hurst, 16, of R.R. 1, Orono. Friends will recal that Helen attended Bethesda School, Tyrone Church and was a Registered Nurse, graduate of Toronto General Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Aldin Hoar visited Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Hoar, Cooksville. Recent visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Hoar were Mr. and Mrs. Mervin Smith and family, Bowmanville. Please 'note that Tyrone U.C.W. will meet one week early on June 7, 1978 in the C.E. Wing, when Mrs. Pat Best will be the guest speaker on "India." The Explorer girls group held a social evening with their mothers as guests on May 24. Two graduates, Nancy Haines and Jane Taylor, received their "E" pins, while other members received badges. The proceed- ings of a regular meeting were followed, complete with'Mrs. Edna Philp's Bible story. Following a sing-song, lunch and refreshments, were served. "'Welcome" ta the mothers was expressed by Chris Vivian. Mrs. Phyllis Haines maved a, vote of thanks on behaîf of the mothers to the girls and ta their leaders, Mrs. Goldie Tidd and Mrs. Edna Philp, for their faithful leadership. This was the closing meeting for the season. Community Park Recreation is underway with scores of boys and girls and adults competing on teams of soccer, basebaîl, etc. They would appreciate your attendance for spot O1BITUjARIES MRS. MARY CHOPIK In failing health for the past two years, Mrs. Mary Chopik died at Oshawa General Hospital Thursday, May 25, 1978. She lived at 502 Front St., Oshawa. The former Mary Pylypiw was born October 12, 1900, in the Ukraine, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Pylypiw, corning ta Canada in 1926 and ta Oshawa ini 197 from Toronto. She was a mnember of St. George's Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, of the Ladies Ukrainian Catholic Women's Society and of the Ladies of the OYK and was predeceased by her 'husband, Harry Chopik, September 15,'1964, and a brother Fred. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Ann Dunn of Oshawa and Toronto, Mrs. John R. Roîko (Rose) .of Toronto, Miss Stephanie Chopik of Toronto and Mrs. Ronald McPhee (Sylvia) of Oshawa; a son, Paul Chopik of Oshawýa; a sister, Anna in the Ulkraiine, 1 çilindhiltiden and Hilîcrest Heights Cub Pack for 20 years. She is survived by her husband, Rae Zinck, 'her prns, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Anes'on of Oshawa, a auteKaren, a son, Michael, both at home, and two sisters, Mrs. Ron Siblack (Joan) of Kedron and Mrs. Williamn Oliver, (Louise) of Agincourt. Mrs. Zinck rested at the Armstrong Funeral Home. Service was held in the chapel Friday at 1:45 p.m. Interment in Zion Cemtery. Rev. Paul Erb officiated.
