D ENTERTAINMENT GUIDE - JLJ Knights of Columbus Introduces TV Bingo T.V. Bingo wiil be initiated in the Oshawa-Whitby-Bow- manville region on Wednes- day, September 2th. The =ngt of Columbus will be unetking this new venture for charity fundraising. Bingo games will be telecast on Cable Channel 10 every Wednesday eveming at 6:30 p.m. As well as appealing to many of our senior citizens who find it physicaliy impossible to attend Bingo games, the Knights hope to attract viewers who like this Comedy Opens- Spotlight Theatre's Season new convenience. The Bingo cards may be purchased at shops of partîcipating local merchants for the weekly games. Cash prizes up to $375.00 wiil be awarded each week. Winners simply cail Cable 10 T.V. studi and the. prizes will be delivered to their homes. The Knights of Columbus hope that the greater Oshawa area community will make T.V. Bingo a success, t. erefore providing revenue for their various charities. Here is your chance to watch, listen and talk to the musicians that make those wonderful sounds. This casual meet-the- musicians atmosphere is designed to stimulate public interest in Durham's only symphony orchestra.
